Can anyone please tell me what your answer to this poem would be?

I'm almost positive that "ghost" is speaking of the pale rider, death.. of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. At first I thought that you were speaking of the phoenix, but after reading ghost's poem I believe you may have had death on your mind as well.
