Can I be buried in ANY cemetery in just a plain cardboard box w/out being enbalmed or anything??

I know it seems morbid but my boyfriend and I have a wager going and I think it is legal .....he does not. We live in Kentucky, if that matters, I just can't find the laws regarding this anywhere on the net. If anyone knows I'd appreciate it greatly.
