My '98 blazer made a puttt-puttt-puttt sound?

My '98 blazer made a not a knocking sound but more of a flapping noise. I sped up, hit a little bump, the engine stopped running and all of my engine oil leaked, I tried to start it once and the engine didn't turn. Is my engine dead? Is it possible to get it fixed?
